What's
an Emergency?
Generally, any unforeseen situation that prevents you from returning
home in your ridesharing mode constitutes an emergency and qualifies
for the Emergency Ride Home. Some examples are:
- If you or your rideshare
partner become ill and need to return home.
- If a family emergency requires you or your rideshare partner
to return home. Illness or injury to a family member would be
considered an emergency.
- If you are required to work unplanned overtime. Unplanned means
that it was not scheduled in advance nor was it anticipated due
to prevailing workloads.
- Unscheduled stoppage of public transportation service. If your bus or train is not operating for some unforeseen reason and the transit provider is not offering alternate service.
You probably get the idea. If you're not sure your situation
qualifies, call and ask us. Chances are we'll be able to help. |
