Choose a meeting point that is central to all passengers. Park-N-Ride lots work well as do retail centers. If you use a retail center or other private location, seek permission first. See a list of Park-N-Ride lots at http://mapsvr.scag.ca.gov/parkride. |

Arrive at the meeting point promptly at the agreed upon time.
Decide in advance how long the van will wait for tardy passengers.
Five minutes is typical. |
| 3. |
Make your seat payment on or before the date it is due. Your
driver is required to make the overall lease payment on time. |
| 4. |
Be considerate of your fellow passengers. Decide in advance on
smoking, eating, radio station preferences, etc. Resolve conflicts
as they arise. |
| 5. |
Do not perform personal errands or make unscheduled stops with
passengers aboard. The van should be washed and fueled outside
of commute trips. |
| 6. |
Each van should have a driver and two alternates. This insures
the vanpool will still operate if the primary driver cannot
drive. |
| 7. |
Decide on an advance notice policy if previously made arrangements
are to change. |
